Jamie Lynn Spears has had several acting opportunities so far, which have managed to launch her career and to set her apart from her more famous, older sister, Britney Spears. As she has always looked up to her sister’s evolution in the entertainment industry, Jamie Lynn Spears wanted to make a name for herself. She started acting in 2002, but in recent years Jamie Lynn Spears had to take a break from the professional field, since she became a mother. Fans still await her return on the big screen and in television.

In 2002, Jamie Lynn Spears appeared in the film Crossroads, in which the major role was given to her sister, Britney Spears. Britney played the role of Lucy Wagner and Jamie Lynn Spears interpreted the same character, but in the younger version. This was a contribution to the accurate development and maturing of the character of Lucy Wagner. Her next televised appearance was in the series called All That. This was a sketch comedy show, in which the young actress appeared as herself. However, her role in the production did not start once with the whole show. The actress came as the new addition to the cast in the 8th season. She was a part of this production in season 9 as well. From 2005 until 2008, Jamie Lynn Spears had the major part in the televised production of Zoey 101. In addition to playing Zoey Brooks, Jamie Lynn Spears also recorded the soundtrack for the 4 seasons series. All That and Zoey 101 are the two main high points of her career so far, which have made her famous among Nickelodeon audiences and others. In 2008, she gave voice to the part of Goldilocks in Unstable Fables: Goldilocks and the 3 Bears and played the role of Mandy Ferner, in the episode “Hot Sub”, from the series called Miss Guided.

Jamie Lynn Spears has had a rather good start in the entertainment industry. What is still to come in terms of her career, will be visible when she returns to the screen.
