Jamie Lynn Spears was born on the 4th of April 1991 in McComb Mississippi, to Jami and Lynne Spears. Jamie Lynn is the younger sister of pop star Britney Spears. Jamie rose to fame on her own with performances on the Nickelodeon television shows All That and Zoey 101. Jamie attended Paklane Academy and was a cheerleader and member of the basketball team. Her education was finished via online correspondence course and her GED was received in February 2008 from the Kentwood High School in Louisiana.

Jamie made her acting debut in the film Crossroads. Crossroads also starred her sister Britney in a cameo role as a young Lucy Wagner. Jamie became a regular on the Nickelodeon sketch series All That and stayed on for three seasons from 2002 to 2004. Zoey Books then came along in the series Zoey 101, a situation comedy again on Nickelodeon. Jamie also sang the theme song for the series. Some of Jamie’s other roles include a role on the sitcom series Miss Guided and the voice of Goldilocks in the film Unstatle Fables: Goldilocks & 3 Bears Show.

Jamie announced on December 20 2007 that she was pregnant. In May 2008 Jamie and her fiancé moved to Liberty, Mississippi. They purchased a house and set up a home to raise their family. Maddie Briann Aldridge was born on June 19 2008 at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Centre in McComb, Mississippi. The July 10 issue of OK! Magazine ran pictures of baby Maddie Briann. In March 2009 the engagement ended and Jamie moved out of the home in February 2010. The media has been a constant strain on the young couple. It is hoped that they will both find happiness and that they will both be able to make a strong contribution to the raising of Maddie Briann.
